Leasing Agent

Winterwood, Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team. The Leasing Agent is responsible for the leasing and marketing of residential properties, while maintaining target occupancy levels. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and be comfortable using computer systems.

Position Details:

  • Job Location(s):
    • The Hemingway Apartments - 3309 River Chase Ct., Louisville, KY 40218 (3 days a week)
    • 2 days floating between other properties in Louisville, KY; New Albany, IN; Jeffersonville, IN; and Sellersburg, IN, as needed
  • Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week) 
  • Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday, 10:30 AM–3:30 PM
  • Compensation: $15-$17.00 per hour, based on experience

Qualifications: 

  • At least 3-5 years of solid customer service or administrative experience. 
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with staff, residents, vendors, and others.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Ability to travel to Lexington, KY for training. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Assume responsibility for the leasing process and effectively market the property.
  • Show available units to prospective residents.
  • Assist in projecting upcoming move-outs to quickly fill units and maintain target occupancy.
  • Screen applicants to determine eligibility.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and ensure compliance with leasing guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate tenant files.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
